The problem

People need to move money quickly and safely — across borders, in their own language — without wrestling with a clunky, untrustworthy app.

What I built

I built the BYC mobile app end to end: real-time exchange rates, OTP-verified transfers, push notifications and dynamic theming, all with multi-language (RTL) support. I paired it with a Next.js admin control panel for managing rates, users and transactions, and wired payment-gateway integration for the money movement itself.

Technical highlights

  • 01

    Secure by default

OTP verification on transfers plus payment-gateway integration, so security lives on the money path rather than bolted on after.

  • 02

    Real-time rates

Live exchange rates surfaced in-app so customers always send against the current rate.

  • 03

    Built for the region

Full multi-language and RTL support with dynamic theming for a first-class Arabic and English experience.

A finance app lives or dies on trust — most of the work was making something fast also feel calm and dependable.
